Privacy Policy

SoulTwins is built on a simple principle: the most meaningful things you can send someone are personal, not monetized. This privacy policy reflects that. We've written it in plain language because you deserve to understand it.

What We Collect

We collect as little as possible. Here is the complete list:

• Quiz results. When you complete the soul archetype quiz, your result is stored in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device and is never sent to our servers.
• Soul messages. When you send a soul message using the "Send a Message" feature, the message content is encoded directly into the shareable link. We do not store your message on any server.
• Standard server logs. Like all websites, our server automatically records basic access information: your IP address, the page you requested, your browser type, and the date and time of the request. These logs are used solely for security monitoring and are retained for no more than 30 days.

What We Do Not Collect

• We do not require you to create an account.
• We do not ask for your name, email address, or any personal identifying information.
• We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any third party.
• We do not use cookies beyond what your browser does automatically.

Third-Party Services

SoulTwins uses Google Fonts to render the typefaces used across the site (Cormorant Garamond and Inter). When your browser loads these fonts, Google may receive your IP address as part of a standard web request. Google's privacy policy governs how they handle that data. We do not pass any additional information to Google.

No other third-party services are loaded on SoulTwins pages.

Soul Messages and Sharing

When you use the "Send a Message" feature, the message you write is encoded into a URL that you share directly with the recipient. That URL is generated in your browser — SoulTwins never sees or stores the message content. The recipient opens the link in their browser, and the message is decoded there. There is no database entry, no record, and no copy retained anywhere on our systems.

Children's Privacy

SoulTwins is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used this site and provided personal information in any way, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of SoulTwins after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
